"Panoramic room was only if you stand up on the terrace. No window in room. Very little room. Toilets not flushing properly . We had to flush 2-3 time just to get paper down. At times had to use water from the sink to flush.
Felt closed in with room. Only way to see out of room was up stairs to a terrace, and a sky light.
Felt a little uneasy walking around at night, although we had no problem,
Staff was friendly.
Breakfast was good,"

"I enjoyed four unforgettable days exploring beautiful Ortigia -staying at the Grand Hotel Ortigia, which is a 5-star luxury hotel overlooking the harbor. It is just a short stroll to the must-see landmarks such as the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Aretusa Fountain, and the renowned Cathedral of Syracuse. it was built in 1890 and was completely renovated while preserving its classic old-world charm with marble floors, Corinthian columns, and beautiful art-filled common areas.
