"Wonderful boutique resort with fantastic food. Staff were very friendly and personal. We especially appreciated Manos at reception. He provided detailed and accurate travel suggestions for Eastern Crete. Great source of knowledge for visiting remote areas including beaches, monasteries, local restaurants, and small villages. We loved all of the restaurants especially the garden restaurant experience. Thank you!"

Be aware of steep steps to the beach, beach bar and one of the à la carte restaurant's. Complimentary mini bus to elounda. Not really walking distance to leave the resort and explore on your own. Would return and hire a car next time."

"The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking. We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice. Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up. Overall, highly recommend the private villas. Just bear in mind that access to the villas is via the Istron Hotel’s main access road so just enter the hotel as your destination otherwise you may just drive right...
