"Salad at the take and go was fresh"

"My flight was delayed, so I did not check in until 3 am. The shuttle driver was friendly, and the night clerk was very kind and welcoming. For what I needed this room for (a clean, comfortable bed and bathroom), this hotel was fine. Definitely no-frills. Please be aware that there are no USB ports in the rooms. Unfortunately, I did not bring a power block, so I was unable to charge my phone. The included breakfast was about what you'd expect at a Microtel - yogurt, muffins, fruit, etc. If you require a "real" breakfast, look elsewhere. For a Microtel, this room was quite expensive. I suspect the rates were inflated due to the basketball tournament being held in Indianapolis that weekend, because this was in no way a $200+/night property. I travel all over the US every other week for work and have stayed at much nicer, better-appointed properties for much less. That being said, if your needs are basic, the location is convenient for your trip, and you can get a better rate, this is a clean and reasonable place to stay."

It started before I even booked: I called three times to ask about rates, and customer service hung up on me every single time. It only got worse from there: • The Shuttle: I waited 90 minutes at the airport. I called the front desk four times, and though they kept claiming the driver was "on the way," I was left stranded for an hour and a half. • Housekeeping: Despite four separate requests on my first day, no one ever showed up to clean the room. • Maintenance: The TV was broken. A repairman "fixed" it, but it stopped working again by the very next morning. They are quick to give excuses over the phone but fail to actually provide the services promised. Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere."

"The place was in ill repair. Smoke detectors chipping, the elevator was filthy. The continental breakfast had oranges that were so old they were brown, shriveled and hard. Would not recommend. "
