"This place is really special - it's a good experience, the staff is so nice, the restaurant is on site, and there are animals to visit. With all that said, the room itself was pretty shabby. The beds were wildly uncomfortable , the blankets had other people's hair embedded in it, and the cars/rooms are just run down. We were sad to leave the place in general but not the room itself. "

All necessary equipment, but could have been stored another place. The frig for storing the yogurt and butter and such was in a corner and the door hinge was on the wrong side that couls easily been reversed. "The room was what was to be expected and for the price it was nice. I have stayed in more expensive places that were less impressive. I will say that I paid in advance and was nice made aware of a policy that includes charging my card BEFORE I stay in the room and as if they are assuming I’m going to break all the motel rules. "Room was clean. There was some damage to the door not allowing the swing lock to secure the door. I had booked specifically for the location and breakfast. Disappointed in breakfast. It was continental at best with the option to buy breakfast sandwich from front desk. Perhaps have a toilet plunger in rooms so patron doesn’t have to call front desk basically announcing your bathroom challenges."
