"The most amazing room!! Newly redone. Huge bathroom with bright lighting. Sink area had an incredible mirror. So nice n bright. Had a couch, nice big tv w many good channels. Now let’s talk plugs ins/charging areas. We could hv plugged in 20 things!! Unreal!! The had an “executive desk area”-compare it to any office, moveable desk, outlets all over. Staff was so very nice. We checked in late, the owner had his mgr help with our bags yo the 2nd floor. It was the most perfect room. I told them we...

"Pictures on line were cute, but the motel was run down and loud. It seemed people were running around most of the night. It was very convenient to the beach - an easy walk of less than a mile. A Denny’s was in the parking lot for an easy meal"

"This hotel is a short drive to Monterey or even Santa cruz. It's not your average hotel where you wonder if the people are on vacation or if they're actually living there. It's right on the water which is near the Elkhorn Slough. You might see otters in the water and there are a variety of birds right outside of your window. The room was super cute. You have access to the shared kitchen and dining room in the house on the property. I will definitely be staying there again."

"The girl who worked that afternoon always has a bad attitude, she’s not professional nor pleasant. She gives out bad vibes uncomfortable bad attitude. "

"The entrance to the office is too narrow and my car got damaged. The hotel staff was not apologetic or supportive and told me “it’s my problem” The hotel otherwise was okay but the staff needs to put a sign warning customer’s about to that and show better customer service skills"

"The hotel is a little run down. There was mold in the bathroom ceiling. The room had an unpleasant smell and needed to be completely aired out. "

"It’s a pretty standard place. Super walkable to the warf and lots of shops. I WILL say tho, for the historical rooms, the beds are EXTREMELY loud and there’s no AC but it was an affordable place and nothing insane to complain about. I’d do it again on a budget and the history on the place is very interesting. Parking was easy to find and the staff were no issue. "
