"If you are coming to this area to visit, for sure stay here at the Hampton Inn. Nice staff, lovely renovated rooms, decent breakfast, nice gym area. Right in the middle of town. Great weekend stay!"

"Everything was fantastic. My room was beautiful and clean. Beds were super comfortable. They allowed me to stay an extra hour due to work related things. 10/10 would recommend. Only thing i would want better is eggs and sausage in the included breakfast. "

"It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left...
