"This hotel was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice looking. The food at the cafe was good.
There were quite a few drawbacks, though: We had to get some towels replaced on the very first night because they were dirty. They also did not have soap so we had to request that. The internet was pretty bad, it dropped regularly. We had ants.... They were small but they were still active and we had them daily. Half the time the front desk did not answer the phone so my husband had to walk downstairs to speak with them. And lastly, there was a horrible smell emanating from the hallway of floor half the time we went out. Not sure what the smell was or where it came from but it was pungent. Overall 4 out of 5 rating."
"The staff is friendly and housekeeping comes by daily in the morning to either restock your water or clean the room if you want. They will not bother you if you put the door tag on and to me that is a plus. There is a 500 baht deposit you pay at the check in counter so be aware of that fee before you buy. They will give back the 500 baht at the end of your stay and you should just use it for food or at 711 if you don't want to hold on to it or transfer it back to your currency and take another conversion fee hit.
Positives for the room are that the AC cranks cold and the shower gets hot and has good pressure.
The biggest negative that needs to be addressed is the mattress needs a topper/pad to bulk it back up because it is not comfortable. My mattress was worn out and I could feel the springs across my back no matter which side of the mattress I was on. I highly recommend you bring your own pillow or go buy one if you can as well.
The Wifi was choppy and did not work until they fixed it 1 day before I was leaving. When it was fixed it was okay and at least stable."
"The staff were fantastic, the room including the add ons were a nice touch. Have stayed with Dusit Princess’s before and they were up to their very high standards."
