"We checked in at 11:00 PM, and the receptionist kept us waiting with our two children just so they could handle the next guest’s check-in. The staff member was extremely grumpy and barely responded to our questions, speaking in a very dismissive manner. While the beds were clean, the bathroom was filthy. "The view from our room was the absolute best part of our stay at the Edgewater Inn. The Inn is quaint and could definitely use some updating (chipped deck, cracks in the ceiling, etc), but overall is a pleasant stay. The room we stayed in could have used a good mopping and a wipe down in some areas, but the bed was comfortable and the ac worked perfectly. The views are amazing (day and night) and it’s in such a close proximity to all that Saint Augustine has to offer."
