"We arrived on time for check in yet they made us wait an extra 2 hours before handing over the room keys. We booked a room for 3 and only got 2 blankets to sleep with. The elevator was slow and skipped floors randomly, other guests were also complaining. On top of that they were doing renovations so the stairwell was occupied by workers and tiles all over the place making it dangerous to take the stairs when the elevator was not functioning correctly. "The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. The area around the hotel is bustling in the day and quiet at night. A taxi cannot drive up to this property so you will to do a short walk through the streets to get there. The staff were friendly and always greeted us. They were helpful when we called for assistance with anything we needed to clarify...
