We stayed at this property for one night when the air space closed at Barbados airport due to an air traffic controller strike. Pros: beautiful clean property, stunning beach view rooms, great food and drink & friendly serving staff. Cons: check in process painful and daunting. I understand that day was chaotic but we had a paid reservation and just kept getting bumped by people that had checked out and returned to the hotel due to cancelled flights. When we first arrived they said they couldn’t guarantee we would get our rooms even though we had a paid in full reservation. After waiting over 2 1/2 hours in the lobby and finally pushing to get rooms at 4:00 to utilize the facilities we paid for we finally got in at 5:00pm. It was a stressful day not knowing if we had a place to sleep that night. In the end, we loved the resort and the service staff at the bars, coffee bar, Elements restaurant and especially Nikoli who was great at being very attentive to our needs. Also a great big thank you to the chef at Elements for providing information on gluten free options on the buffet and a special dessert.

Everything was amazing..so very clean…food was great… rooms were perfect…staff were friendly for the most part..I felt like they could have a better itinerary..there were NO activities at all..also neither jacuzzi was working and they knew from when we got there.. nobody had them fixed..and I have been to so many resorts before but the service here was by far the slowest I have ever seen.. 4 hours for dinner is ridiculous and at breakfast the coffee took forever.. it was not even close to being sold out. I felt like the people who check you in could be a little more knowledgeable and friendlier… the bartenders were the friendliest.. Ekeel Jacob..Shaq were amazing… I would definately recommend this resort it just needs a little more fun

We really enjoyed the location of the O2 resort. It is a beautiful ocean front view and very clean outside areas. The staff is very friendly, not going to go the extra mile but very friendly and do their job. I do recommend tips as the top staff will want to help out more. Housekeeping cleans but not great. Maybe like a 5/10 for housekeeping. They don’t restock all the towels or the free mini bar fridge very well. I would also recommend taking any valuables such as jewelry or cash everywhere with you. We did have $80 taken from our son’s wallet by housekeeping and our safe code was also oddly changed and we had to get maintence and we were missing $220. Otherwise everything was good. Housekeeping would be our biggest issue. Our trip was still great and we loved the Island!

Nice hotel. Very nice rooms. Great views. Mediocre food. Terrible service. Room cleaned but no fresh towels. Called Housekeeping for towels and waited two hours. Gave them a list of what we wanted the minibar stocked with and they stocked it once. After about 4 hours. Said we would have to call every time we wanted anything added. At the beach there were a dozen recliners and 6 beach umbrellas lying there. We asked attendants to put up an umbrella and 2 loungers for us since all were full. They said they all were broken. We later saw them put up an umbrella and two loungers for someone who tipped them. Life is too short to put up with that kind of service at an expensive supposedly all-inclusive resort! It started when we checked in. We had requested a room with two beds but were put in a room with one. Although they had said bedding types were not guaranteed, they had guaranteed me a room with two beds in a telephone conversation before arrival which had kept me from booking another hotel instead. . After waiting 45 minutes to talk to a manager it only took two minutes for him to get us a two bed room by checking the computer to see if one was available (there were two). Apparently, the front desk personnel couldn’t be bothered to do that. I exclude the waitstaff and bartenders from this bad review. They were adequate. The spa staff was very responsive setting up appointments for my partner although she only found one of three treatments to be excellent.

Hotel was wonderful, our room was everything we could have asked for and more with beautiful views of the beach and stunning sunset every day. The staff were fantastic, super friendly and helpful they all made us feel right at home and like we could ask anything anytime. Great food, great entertainment ( New Year’s Eve was brilliant) and great location. Will be back very soon

Where to start. The staff at O2 are very rude and will gaslight you if you have an issue. The hot water did not work in my room and they did NOTHING to rectify the situation. After having a maintenance person come twice, the water remained cold and when I confronted them about the situation they told me “the maintenance person said they came and the water was hot”. I’m sorry but why would I make up not having hot water? Ridiculous. This was one of the worst all inclusive experiences. The manager is incompetent and does not thoroughly investigate or attempt to give exemplary customer service. The food here is decent and the beach is beautiful but the staff, many of them have an attitude. I will never return.

Just a 3 dressed up as a 9. The drink selection was decent, the main buffet was ok at best. The beach chairs and overall condition of the resort wasn't great. The chairs were dirty and cushions were ripped. The grout in the bathrooms were detatched from the walls. For the amount this place charges you should go to a real 5 star.

Very beautiful resort with really good food. The resort is actually impeccably clean. The rooms are gorgeous. The staff was extremely attentive. Just be careful when booking. I booked for 2 and noticed day before departure that the booking had somehow changed to a booking for 1 person, but at the same price for two! It was a little horrific as I had to pay considerably more upon arrival! Significantly more. Now I have a small claims court date to contend with. Very unfortunate. But the resort was a good one. I’ve been to many… it’s up there.

Overall felt like an upscale hotel experience more than a true all inclusive 5 star resort. The property is small but nice, the pools feel a bit too small to fully enjoy to be honest The food was great and there was a wide variety of options to choose from. The service was generally good but I would avoid the tapas bar, there were strange vibes there and poor portion sizes (yes even for tapas). The beachfront is just okay, as a strong swimmer I was able to enjoy the water, but expect some decent sized waves and not really a type of beach to just relax in the water, although the nearby Dover beach is much more pleasant (but you'll need to pay to rent chairs and umbrella there. Overall it was a good experience, but not a true 5 star experience in my opinion.
