Pros- quiet, bed comfortable, tv channel selection was ok but the numbering is odd. Laundry room is good.
Cons- extremely rude staff and stupid policies. We have been on a road trip and wanted a break from the road. We planned to stay 9 nights then move on. Yesterday after 7 nights we were told we had to check out today and they refused to even have a discussion. We understand about residency laws however having worked at motels we know that you just make the next reservation in a different name. But they choose to lose 2 nights revenue and upset the guests. Bad idea when they were never fully booked. We will also note that there was trash in our closet when we arrived and the heater was not functioning correctly. It doesn’t click off when it reaches desired temperature resulting in it being too hot or too cold. I will add that we cleaned before we left and honestly it was cleaner when we left than when we arrived. It was not disgusting when we arrived but there was a lack of attention to details. Trash in the closet, rug is old and needs replaced, wood floor would be better. Weird towel rack in the shower and dusty lamps.
Overall we enjoyed our stay as it was a nice break from being on the roads however because the staff and owner were so rude if we return to the area we will stay somewhere else. There is several decent places that are only a few dollars more and within minutes
