"The general condition of the hotel is poor, old, tired and a bit scruffy. The rooms just about fit the bill, but the bathrooms are very small. The general condition of the hotel is not good, the corridors are grotty and the floor is uneven. The staff are hit n miss, the cleaning ladies were friendly enough the night shift staff were completely incompetent, and don't expect room service, I had to order in a pizza!! "Crathorne Hall is a lovely old fashioned hotel in a peaceful setting. We had a room upgrade which did help but the staff are excellent, as is the food. The highlight at breakfast was the uttapam, a traditional Indian breakfast dish."
