"Room was good and very clean had a issue with the window that wouldn't close correctly so had some road noise. Staff were bringing and couldn't do enough for you and made you feel very welcome food was brilliant and well cooked "

"Fire alarm was set off in the middle of night resulting in us having to go the reception only to be told someone was capping in room. No real apology, the least they could have done was included breakfast as an apology. Noise with doors slamming in the night, breakfast way over priced at £15 average selection, average food. "Good breakfast and good Bar Difficult getting into shower (for our age 79) as it was over the bath which was high even though there was a hand hold"

"We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. "
