"The room was clean and spacious. Kitchen area included a full sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, a stove, and a microwave. The king-size bed was comfortable. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage and pulled pork, cubed potatoes cooked with peppers, cereals and milk, yogurt, coffee, muffins, breads, etc. We were not informed when we reserved the room that parking was $25 each day. The parking area is surrounded by a fence. Parking is accessed at a gate activated by a keypad keycode."

"We have always stayed here when in Birmingham, and this was the first time we were disappointed. Our bathroom was not cleaned well at all… empty toilet paper roll, fingerprints and water spots all over the bathroom mirrors, dirty shower glass, and mildew on some of the shower grout. Then the next morning, they no longer have the restaurant available for breakfast. They have a coffee shop available, and suggest you walk next door to the Sheraton. The staff that was working were all very friendly."

"The only convenience of this hotel is the location to the Legacy Area. Everything else is basic. Upon arrival I was told that the room I booked had been given away and was given a double queen room instead of the king. This was annoying because I don’t want to go to a hotel and sleep in a bed smaller than the one I have at home. Also my spouse is 6”6. I was told to talk to a manager at check-out and that I would be “taken care of.” I didn’t cause a stink because we had reservations and it was...

"The staff was wonderful!!! Very helpful and hard working! The hotel itself is old, and the decor is a little weird, with a lot of pics of vials and pharmacy related things. Just a bit strange. The room was great, but just an old property."
