"Horrible. So bad I refused to check in even though I had pre-paid for the room. 2/3 of the motel looked condemned and under renovation with "Warning - Do Not Enter" signs on the doors. The reception desk (behind glass) was managed by a gun carrying man who explained he was also the hotel guard and ran the U-Haul facility out of the same location. "We stayed at this Motel 6 in Tucson off Craycroft this weekend, and unfortunately it was a really bad experience. The room was not clean at all—there was hair on both the sheets and top bedding, stains on the linens, dirty floors, visible mold, and peeling paint. It honestly felt unsanitary. We were too exhausted to drive back home, so we stayed, but ended up sleeping on top of our own blankets curled up just trying to get through the night. "We only stayed one night, which is not long enough to enjoy this beautiful hotel. The free valet was so helpful getting our luggage to and from our room. We had an issue with a noisy swamp cooler outside our room (#17) and an engineer came immediately and resolved it. We will be back!"
