"Such a lovely property! The grounds are beautiful and having a pool to use after a hot day of walking around is wonderful. We found our dinner in the restaurant to be excellent! Good breakfast buffet! The only slight downside is if you want to go into Florence every day, while they do offer a shuttle, it stops quite a walk from the centre of town and the schedule isn’t always convenient so we needed up taking taxis a lot which added up financially. "The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We spent time at the pool and had breakfast on one of the days. We also visited the spa. Our executive room had 2 beds and view of the river. It was large, clean and well appointed, perfect for my daughter and I. The downside to this hotel is that it is a ways out of Florence centre, about a half hour walk and not sure i would be comfortable walking at night in the area.
