"Another fantastic stay at Moat House for my parents, who simply won't stay anywhere else when they're visiting the area!
The whole team were phenomenal from start to finish. Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. The bar, restaurant and food service teams were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making guests feel genuinely valued throughout their stay.
A special mention also to the young gentleman in the restaurant, who was exceptionally polite and professional, and to the young lady serving food in the bar area. We understand she's fairly new, but she serves customers with such pride and enthusiasm that you'd think it was her own business. It's wonderful to see the Lewis Partnership adding her talents to an already outstanding team.
As always, the surroundings are beautiful, with stunning wildlife and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The Sunday roast was delicious, and the breakfast was simply divine – only surpassed by the exceptional customer service.
We're also looking forward to visiting the Dog & Doublet, another property within the same group and conveniently located nearby.
We visit Moat House ourselves whenever we want to relax, and my parents genuinely won't consider staying anywhere else when they're in town. That's probably the highest compliment we can give.
