It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. "A surprising bit of luxury in a small guest house. We stayed at the Glen Quarter for one night at the start of a coastal tour, but now I kind of wish we'd booked two nights instead. Our stay fell on a Tuesday night in the off season, so I feel like we barely sampled the charms of Kinsale and now I want to come back for a longer stand (this happens A LOT in Ireland... Charming smaller towns feel so welcoming and familiar, but are eclipsed by the glamorous bigger cities). But back to the Glen...

Our room was beautiful and so spacious. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting upon our arrival. Would book this again and again and again!!! Unfortunately it was raining so we didn’t get to explore the grounds but from what I could see, that was also spectacular. "
