Hi! The reception lady when check in done was mean. Also the breakfast was poor, and the Pancake cooker was dirty and not healthy, a lot of black metal thing stuck with the Pancake when it's been cooked even after putting a lot of oil, pictures are attached...

2 star hotel

This hotel was nothing like what was pictured in the listing. The room was very outdated, disgusting old carpet. The bed was very uncomfortable, squeaky and broken. They said they had free laundry service with washer and dryer. The laundry soap they had for us to use was the same hand soap they use in the room. After we washed everything we asked about the dryer and then they informed us they don't have one anymore and that they had a drying rack to use, which was already being used. We ended up having to pack damp clothes up the next morning when we checked out since they didn't dry overnight. The breakfast was not good and definitely not up to par with other Thon hotels we have stayed at. No hairdryers in the room. We stayed 4 days and housekeeping only came one day to clean.

It's a good hotel, overall. Here's my experience: I had to wait just over 10 minutes before the reception was attended to check in. A 'be right back' sign was put in place, but the 'right' can be discussed. The place is a bit older and getting a bit worn at points. It's definitely clean, but it all has clear signs of long time usage. Fortunately you can just fill out a card in your room with what you think needs maintenance, if anything actually would be broken or missing. The hotel has two big plusses: parking and breakfast are included. Mind that the hotel is right next to a toll gate, so you're good for Sandnes but have to pass it for Stavanger. Breakfast was fresh and simple. A very attentive attendee even went around to refill cups of coffee. That's very kind and, especially early in the morning, appreciated! If anything can be improved: please add some fish. Smoked salmon or trout would be great. It's Norway, after all... Staff was generally (if available..) kind and very to the point. Not a second is wasted in this place. As a result, the check in itself took less than a minute and so did the check out. Overall, I'd definitely stay again if I'm around.
