"Murren was loveliest swiss village with the most incredible views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. Lots to do nearby and easy transportation to/from everything in the region. This hotel is designed in very good taste, food is outstanding, staff friendly and the room was great. You can’t go wrong here. We stayed in a Senior Suite with our 2 children (2 bedrooms, 2 bath plus living area)."

"This hotel and our room and their service was impeccable. So impressed with every detail of every area, including our room. Unbelievable view from our room. After 5 weeks in Europe, this hotel is at the very top. Husband and wife owners are totally committed to their guests. Wow! The included breakfast was the best ever. The food and service and view at the restaurant were also top notch."

"The room was cute and cabin-like however the bedding was terrible, as during the night it would fall to the floor and the so called pillow was hard to describe, flat as a pancake and lumpy, certainly not comfortable. There was no fridge nor kettle which should be standard in hotel units."

"Great cottage and location at the end of the Main Street in Wengen. Incredible views from the mountain facing terrace and the best included breakfast I’ve had at any location. Used as my base camp to explore the Swiss Alps over 4 days, which was perfect going up the Jungfrau side, thru Lauterbrunnen and the east side mountains, or into Interlaken/Bern if the weather restricted visibility."

"Great location. Beautiful views from the room. Only thing to keep in mind is that it is a steep climb from the station. Just be aware of it with luggage."

"The hotel was conveniently located close to train station. The outdoor patio area is lovely place to enjoy drinks and take in the beautiful views. We were very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were under renovations and not usable. One of the main reasons we picked this hotel was to have a hot tub and pool to enjoy the amazing views. We were upset that we were not told in advance or given a discount for the inconvenience. Otherwise the staff was helpful and hotel is convenient to shops,...

"Had a lovely stay. The staff promptly greeted us upon arrival and provided us with a complimentary drink which was very thoughtful. We stayed in a building separate from the main hotel and had an incredible view with a quaint balcony. Staff assisted us by bringing out luggage to the room which was very kind after a long day of traveling. Complimentary breakfast was provided and the meal was incredible. Would certainly recommend booking with this phenomenal hotel."

"Het is gedateerd, geen koelkast en geen airco. Was erg heet in de kamer. Verder super schoon. Konden niet in restaurant eten volgens de 2 dames in de bediening. Ze deden geen enkele moeite. Volgens henzelf was er gebrek aan personeel. We kregen eerder de indruk dat ze geen zin hadden."

"Going in we knew it was a historic building but the room was dark and minimal compared to other similar facilities we have stayed at. No one was at the desk to check us in, we had to call on phone at desk to pay for parking before getting code to lock box for key to room. There was no mention of a code to get back in the building in the evening. Breakfast was the standard continental breakfast. Beautiful area with an old church and covered bridge."
