"This is an excellent facility with good beds and bathrooms. Our stay was spoilt by surly unhelpful reception staff. After telling us that we could not check in before 3 pm, the same person checked in a crew of pilots. Then at 3:05 When apparently we qualified to check in we were given a room on the top floor. My wife had an injured knee and asked if there was a room available on a lower floor. Although we were the first to book in after 3 pm we were told there were no other rooms...

"It is clean but there was a big spider crawling on the bed frame. Asked the receptionist for help they came but they did’t caught it as one of them was more scared than the spider. You can clearly hear the sound of closing door of nearby rooms. So you can wake up with the loud banging noise."

"This was by far one of the best inn rooms I have slept in for years. The bed was big and comfortable with a great mattress topper, two big wide windows for air. There was both a bath and a shower and both were clean. Tv and great coffee machine with plenty of milk and sugar with milk alternatives if needed. "Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was spacious (in previous occasions I've been assigned smaller bathrooms in which it was difficult to get in/out of the bath). Very quiet room even though it's next to the main road. I'd like it more if they provided the usual hotel amenities in the room (e.g. a bath cap). Breakfast is quite nice, a continental and full English buffet. Overall, I like the place."

Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities...

"I cannot speak highly enough of this Hotel. Our stay was enhanced by the ambience, the welcome we received and the service was exceptional.
