The bathroom was dirty and had black bits on the floor, making it feel unhygienic. The freezer was also very dirty, with bits of hair inside it — absolutely unacceptable. "This was the first of two stays there in the Spring of 2025. Lovely old building right in the middle of the Altstadt of Freiburg. Nice room and excellent breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we returned for a second stay a week or so later. "
