"The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!"

"This place was a wonderful surprise on a night when we arrived late and didn't have a plan of where to stay. Room suddenly showed up on Expedia that had not been there the night before that we booked. It was a lovely place right on campus. we were there to see a venue at the arena. Bed was comfy people who worked there were mainly stood in super friendly. It was a great experience. I'd go back there in a minute."

"The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. We had to adjust the check-in/out dates, which they did immediately with no questions. Once they realized we had dogs, they gave us a room right by the side door on the first floor which made potty trips SO simple. We had one issue with the heating unit, but they responded quickly and we've had no further issues. And my favorite thing - the water pressure was amazing and the hot water seemed endless. Great stay."
