"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is centrally located in old Montreal, is a beautiful property. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Housekeeping was thorough and incredibly prompt. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooftop bar had great cocktails, and food and nice views of the river. And there are also two other very good restaurants on the property, Pincette in particular."

"Property was amazing! Clean, large and chic. Close to the plateau and lots of restaurants! Only downside is you can hear people walking around upstairs but fans and earplugs are provide and noise is usually only until 11pm"

"The location is fantastic. The pillows in our room, however, had a strong odour to them and when I called to have them replaced, the reception team mentioned they had recently changed all the pillows in the hotel."

"The room was very basic. It was not configured the way we had discussed at check-in but the front desk staff were able to assemble things at our request. Clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was acceptable but not as great as some of the reviews we had read. I had asked for some vegetarian options. The request was noted but there was nobody who was aware of it at the breakfast service. The attempt to give the impression of service was made but it fell short unfortunately. Location is convenient....

"We had a very large room that was comfortable and modern. Loved the bathtub and the windows that opened to outside almost like a terrace! The front desk staff, housekeeping, and valet staff were amazing. The location of the hotel is quiet but convenient to all restaurants, activities, and bars. Highly recommend Hotel Gault!"

"Clean and great location."

"The property is ultra convenient with the entrance right on Jacques Cartirer Square. There IS an elevator. The one bedroom unit we had was very spacious with excellent AC, a waher dryer and modern kitchen. The view is onto the back alley, but this wasn't a concern for us. There can be a bit of carryover noise from other units, but not so intense that we were concerned. We would very gladly book another stay at this property."

"We got room 105 that was warned to be noisy at night. To be honest, it wasn’t that loud and the air conditioning noise drowned it out, so sleeping through the night wasn’t a problem at all. Room also provided umbrellas which was a life saver cus it was pouring one of the days. Staff was also friendly and helpful on where to store our luggage for after check in"
