"Super cool property located in town. The renovation details of the lodge is very upscale. Lots of great amenities; comfy bed; great kitchenette, cool bathroom decor. Good communication from staff and property kept very clean. Great spot to enjoy weekend getaway. Traffic can be busy during the day but everyone is very friendly on the roads to the beach."

"I don’t know if it’s Expedia or the hotel, but we booked 2 queens, and those were NOT queen beds. When I asked the guy at the desk, he said they were. But we measured them! Definitely not queen sized. So just know if you are booking 2 queens, they will be full sized. Also, the room was pretty hot, and there is no air conditioning. The fan was very dinky and loud. "Great location. Room was clean, however, the carpets ( very much so), upholstered furniture cushions REALLY need cleaning. Bathrooms could be cleaned more than only once a day. Other guests were friendly. Very funky historical building, so interesting in that regard. The hallways were crowded with old furniture and very dusty and dirty. "We stayed here for 5 days (2 adults 2 teenagers). At check in we were told there is no contention breakfast since the restaurant is now open and we have a $10 off credit which we never used. When we got to the room, there was no microwave and no fridge. There was no ac just a ceiling fan. We couldn't even open the window because it was screwed shut. That was awesome! The pool was okay. The beds weren't the best. The bathroom door didn't shut unless you slammed it. The hot water was never hot...
