"All was great except for the room. The Staff were really lovely and dinner and breakfast were great. The car parking was fine and convenient to the rear entrance. The room was Room 12, right at the top, on the 3rd or 4th Floor. It was not the room we saw when booking on line at Hotels.com as that room had 3 beds in it. The single beds were very small, there was no chair and only 2 hangers, no wardrobe. The main thing however was the smell !!! We eventually found out it was coming from the drain in the shower, so even with the velux window in the bedroom open it was overpowering."

"Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area."

"The restaurant was closed because of a gas leak. Fortunately we found a really excellent Thai restaurant very close by. The rooms are are in need of renovation and there is no lift. Luckily we only has one overnight bag to carry up to flights of narrow stairs. The bathroom needs complete renovation. Overall it is a very dated hotel. The car park is too small for the number of potential guests in over 30 rooms."

"Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Were using the accessible room which was very spacious for a wheelchair user. Bonus breakfast with cereals and toast tea coffee and orange juice. Ample parking convenient for M1 and our 1 night stopover."
