"Breakfast, views and room "

"There were some positives to our stay. Staff were helpful and friendly, room was very basic but clean, the bathroom seemed to be new and shower was nice and hot and powerful. The hotel was very well placed for visiting Bletchley Park which we did and would highly recommend. We walked and it took about 25 minutes. There were unfortunately also some negatives - yes the hotel is on a busy main road on a roundabout and the traffic noise is very loud and constant. The rooms are located above the bar - we were on the first floor and therefore the music was very loud through the floor right up until closing time making it impossible to sleep. Our room also stank of sewage which we did report - we ended up having to buy an air freshener and use it constantly as the smell got worse toward the end of the day. I think we were maybe just a little unlucky - we are not used to a lot of noise at night and generally go to bed quite early. Therefore, this hotel just didn’t work for us as we struggled to get any sleep both nights we were there."

"Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area."

"The restaurant was closed because of a gas leak. Fortunately we found a really excellent Thai restaurant very close by. The rooms are are in need of renovation and there is no lift. Luckily we only has one overnight bag to carry up to flights of narrow stairs. The bathroom needs complete renovation. Overall it is a very dated hotel. The car park is too small for the number of potential guests in over 30 rooms."

"Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Were using the accessible room which was very spacious for a wheelchair user. Bonus breakfast with cereals and toast tea coffee and orange juice. Ample parking convenient for M1 and our 1 night stopover."

"The welcome that I received was second to none I explained that when I had booked i tryed to book one of the cottages and it was not available however one has since come available and they was happy to move me great welcome "

"Staff were so lovely and friendly and went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is in a lovely setting. Perfect place to stay after attending a wedding in the local area. "
