"We stayed here on a Car Club weekend with a large party of friends including an annual dinner. Although the staff were helpful and tried their best to provide a good service, there were too few of them; especially on the Sunday evening. Apparently, there were only 5 out of 25 staff that should have been on duty meaning there was no housekeeping (therefore rooms not serviced) and the kitchen, bar and waiting staff were hard pressed to keep up with demand. "An older property, but well maintained and fully functional. 1st floor rooms had sloping ceiling which impacted space a little. Adjacent to a very popular BBQ restaurant, which meant busy car parking area. Hotel on a lake with long walks possible on paved walkways, complete with abundant aquatic fowl to watch."

"We arrived quite late for just one night. The check in was simple and staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming. We had food with us and the fridge in the room was a great addition. Plates, cutlery, glasses all in the room, in addition to tea and coffee for the morning. We had a family room and both rooms were super clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and so our sleep was not disturbed. Would be happy to return should we be back in the area. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant...

"Spacious clean room with a good view to countryside. Similarly the 14th floor bar/restaurant had great views all round and a good selection of drinks. Breakfast buffet excellent albeit busy as I think they were fairly full occupancy . Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend."

"We stayed here after a visit to Bletchley Park. Lovely clean rooms with everything you need for a comfortable nights sleep. Great food and drinks at reasonable prices and both our evening meals and breakfast very high quality. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "
