"Conveniently located in the centre of Sanbach with easy access to shops etc. A large free car park and EV charging were a pleasant bonus. The breakfast was weighted towards hot cooked food and the cold buffet poor, it needs more fruit, yogurt, croissants and more interesting breads."

"As usual The Bears Paw didn’t disappoint. Lovely staff, food and drink. The only down side this time as we stayed in a standard room was, it could do with a face lift. "

"Great location right next to the station and an easy walk into the city centre. The ground floor has been nicely refurbished and makes a good first impression. Some investment has clearly gone into the rooms too (new taps etc.), but they don’t feel finished to the same standard. The bathroom in particular felt a little tired – the silicone around the shower was messy and old, the toilet didn’t flush easily, and the extractor fan was very loud. "This was our third stay and will definitely be back it is a lovely friendly place to stay and close to town centre. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent "

"Positives - beautiful hotel in great grounds. Had tea in the restaurant which was very good. Bed was huge. Negatives - couldn't get bath to work and my wife was kept awake during the night by noise in room next door. Use of the spa was £20 per person (which I was willing to pay) but was then told we couldn't use it until 5pm. We'd arrived at 3pm with plan to go in spa before our friends arrived later. "

"We paid for an upgrade but it was a fairly standard room with a view of the car park. Having said that, the staff were very pleasant, the room was clean, bed comfortable and an excellent power shower. Buffet style breakfast was delicious with additional items freshly prepared if requested. I would happily stay again."
