"The location is excellent for shopping and dining and ferry access to IOW etc. breakfast is bountiful. Room was clean and bed comfortable..all ok BUT for I requested a quieter room as a light sleeper and all ok until evening when pub/club opposite the room started blasting music to 12. Disappointed that no regard was made to my request and no suggestion of a problem with the request until I was experiencing it."

"On approach of the Portsmouth Inn budget hotel it did look a bit off putting by all the wiring and stuff by the door but, as I found out when you go inside everything is nice and clean. there is nobody there to welcome you. It is a self service keyless entry. when you get in contact with the actual property manager you’re given a card via A key holder lock which opens the front door and opened your room inside the room. "Lovely hotel very close to the beach. We especially appreciated the on site restaurant has a vegan dinner menu and plenty of vegan options in the breakfast buffet. Our room was clean and spacious and felt much more like a comfortable and well decorated bedroom than a traditional hotel. A+"
