"It was a place to stay for two nights, and it was quiet. I stayed on the 2nd (top) floor. It is a basic motel, with parking immediately in front of the rooms. No amenities, and nothing nearby (walking distance) for dinner/snacks/drinks."

The yard is filled with beautiful tree’s & flowers. Breakfast is a wonderful variety of fresh and baked foods that go above and beyond. Sheets, towels, mattresses, and bathrooms are all high quality and well-selected. Highly recommended!"

"Probably the best location in Mystic. Charming hotel with a coastal Americana vibe. Very walkable to the main shopping areas and restaurants. Appreciated the on site parking and the cookies in the lobby. The stairwell and hallways of the main hotel had a strong “chemical/petroleum smell”. Not sure where it was coming from but that was off putting. Strong enough that the smell would seep into the room. Also, the front desk crew seemed a bit disengaged — minimal eye contact, seemed to be...

"The name of the Hyatt Place is what attracted us. It can better be called the Hyatt Motel. We found ants and other bugs in our room and reported. Only one of the two elevators were in service. Saving money at the cost of guest inconvenience? They took an extra $100 from us at check in, saying it will be returned at check out. But at check out they told us it may take a few days for refund. Never again."

"The place needs to be torn down. There were stains on the bed, mold in the shower, some kind of spatter on the walls, the hallways smelled like a combination of urine and trash, we were unable to get out money back since "we had paid in full", therefore, we were penalized for paying in advance. Go figure. We were moved to another room which was slightly better but still not good. The beds had minimal blankets and pillows were awful. There was only 1 lamp in the room. The outside light outside...

"One front desk person wasn't nice to us, the shuttle bus didn't pick us up from foxwoods one of the manager at foxwoods saw us sitting for a long time and saw the bus leave us and help us out come off his duty and took us to hilltop inn, also there was no microwave in the room and no pool although it was shown."

"We lost power and they are refusing to give us a refund they told us “ No because the whole town had no power”. That isn’t an excuse I had two little kids and it was very hot without no ac all night. I don’t recommend this place at all."

"Pictures did not match the room. Everything was dated. None of the windows worked. Saw multiple spiders and cobwebs. Black mold on windows in bathroom. Place needs a good cleaning and update. Would not stay again. If it wasn't such a pain to get a refund after checking in I would of left."
