"Hotel is beautiful and I was surprised at the location and design with it being my first time there. Check in was a breeze and the lobby was so pretty with the waterfall inside by the cafe and front desk. The inside bar by the lobby was nice, had a great view and the staff working there were friendly, attentive, and great. We enjoyed food and drinks from the bar and patio and everything was tasty. It really gave a “resort” type of feel. Warning to anyone who hasn’t been, there are a TON of stairs if you plan on going to the pool and wandering around. The place also feels like a maze at times, especially at night. The bartenders at the pool bar were not friendly and barely gave any attention. I get that the timing is off at times but it’s the weekend and the least they could do is acknowledge patrons at the bar. I consistently felt like I was an inconvenience to them by being there and ordering. They would look up at me, all 3 of them, then ignore me. Maybe the bar is closing up which is valid, a little communication could help. After waiting a couple of minutes being ignored, I walked up to the upstairs bar to get drinks, no big deal. As i walked down, the bartender was helping others with new orders. Either you’re closing or you’re not right? And with those stairs, this was not an easy feat between the pool and bar multiple times. Overall I would stay here again, plan better when going to bar and pool, and I would just avoid the pool bar completely. Beautiful view and pool"

"The room we stayed in had a fake eyelash in the bed, a little concerning if the bedding was actually cleaned before our arrival or if it fell off from whoever cleaned the room. Our fridge wasn’t working but maintenance was quick to replace it."

"Overall, stay was excellent. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Working air conditioner and generally friendly staff. The only downside, if a room is booked by a family (2 adults, 2 kids) why do you provide supplies (soap & shampoo) equivalent to one person? Kindly consider the number of occupants at booking and prepare supplies equivalent to them. Nevertheless, it was a good stay. The front staff and housekeeping were really top-notch."

"I got a huge suite the size of a 1 bedroom apartment with full kitchen living room and bath plus the bedroom. Right by the pool. Biggest room ever I booked a basic room but somehow was given this. Excellent staff. I forgot my credit card in the room. The gal mailed it to my napa address the very next day. 👍👍👍"

"Wonderful property! Very well equipped villa with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. So quiet for sleeping! The food at Splash was excellent and extremely reasonable. Delightful pool and attentive staff. Can’t wait to return."

"My reservation was canceled by the hotel the day of my stay. I’ve stayed numerous times at this location. Most recently, I was critical of the cleanliness of the pool area, equipment not working properly, and poor customer service. After my review, I was told that the hotel could not meet my expectations and they would no longer accept my reservations. It would have been easier to simply: 1. Clean pool 2. Repair hot tub 3. Repair BOTH ice machines 4. Clean trash from common areas and parking lot 5. Actually SPEAK to me about my concerns. I sent a letter to the owner and apparently they do no want constructive criticism. I asked twice to speak to manager and no one called me back. This owner and manager should be ashamed. I plan to write them again and voice my concerns on Every Rating and travel platform. I’ll be reaching out to Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce as well. It’s a shame. This was once a regal and great place to stay. "

"Walked through the door and felt like we were transported to a very cool 50's Rat Pack hotel. The vibe was luxury and chic. Pleanty of places to see and be seen as well as cozy hideaways. The grounds are exceptional. Flowers and greenery everywhere. Our room was 2 floors with a spectacular kitchen. Comfortable clean and top of the line. We're planning a return just to stay again The onsite Zuzu bar and restaurant was perfect. Excellent food and a excelent bar."
