The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and have period furnishings and comfortable bed and sitting area. The stained glass and woodwork in the home is wonderful. We especially loved the seating nook with circular moulding around it- gorgeous. A menu is provided for breakfast ahead of time so guests can choose their options. The gracious host serves breakfast. The exterior of the home is getting a completely new paint job - can’t wait to see the new colors! This is a place to stay for a memorable and comfortable visit with a nod to the 1880’s. Fort Plain has a setting of the early days of Upstate New York and there are several good eateries within walking distance We would definitely revisit this Bed and Breakfast "
