"Room was clean but that was the only plus. Hotel overall is very run down and not helped that the majority of rooms are used for permanent tenants on government housing assistance. The laundry was a disgrace. The only machine working, did not operate properly and I finished up taking my clothes to my room and trying to finish washing them in the bath. "Das Hotel ist zu Fuß von der Bahnstation Strathfield zu erreichen. Es gibt einige Imbisse in der Nähe . Mit der Bahn ist man in etwa 30 Minuten in Sydney. Die Bahn ist an das lokale OPAL Nahverkehrsnetz angebunden. Das Hotel ist ruhig wenn man von im Hintergrund fahrenden Zügen absieht - mich hat es nicht groß gestört hat. Was told we did not have a room and they could not give us a room there due to technical issues, explained already checked in so room should be allocated was then told there was no way we could stay there and reception would call other hotels to try and accomodate us. "There was no hot water for my evening and again for my morning shower. My colleague on another floor tells me his shower had no water halfway through and he had to wipe soap off himself without water.
We advised reception on morning checkout and they said yes they understand there seems to be a problem.

"This hotel is a Marriott and should be a premium hotel but,was the complete opposite. It was so outdated and need of repairs. I do not recommend this hotel at all and the Marriott company should be embarrassed to offer this hotel to the public. For the same rate we left the Marriott after the first night and walked down the street to the Fullerton Hotel and it was the complete opposite. The Marriott should take notice. "
