"We stayed two nights at this hotel , and for the cost ($800+ for the two nights) we expected so much more from the room. The staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived early and staff offered that we could leave our suitcases in a space near the desk, which we did but they really should have a secured area. Our room was on the 4th floor with a city view ( which is what we had booked), and it was quite small. There was no where to set our suitcases so we had to just leave them on the floor...

"The good elements: This hotel is very well located in Portoroz and the staff was very welcoming and helpful! Quite a lot of options for the free breakfast. The downsides: The hotel needs a total renovation as it is quite outdated. Smelly carpets in both hallways and rooms. The wifi was up and down. The elevators were very slow and long waits.
