"The hotel was great! It’s not the Hilton or Sheraton, which I knew, but it still took a moment to get used to it. But once I did, it has the charm of New Orleans that I wanted and the chain hotels do not. I felt like I went back in time, albeit with a nice modern bathroom and small kitchen area with a sink, microwave and mini-refrigerator. The location could not be better, in the heart of The French Quarter, close to Bourbon Street, but far enough away from the noise and partying. It was a...

"The Frenchmen is even better than ever. The remodeling is great, especially the improved bathrooms. The staff could not have been more helpful with our large and sometimes noisy group. You continue to be our favorite place to stay in New Orleans. Thanks for everything!"

"Loved the small town feel! We engaged with so many of the guests 🥰. Everyone staying at the Richelieu that we met felt the same way🥰. Staff was wonderful especially Brian. Small hotel felt so warm and welcoming compared to the larger “Name Brands”. Loved all the amenities and the salt water pool! We would stay there again ❤️❤️❤️"

"The hotel was very lovely and in the heart of the French Quarter. This made it easy for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go easily. We had an issue with a loose toilet seat. I texted them and a person was at our door within 10 minutes to fix it. We would stay here again for a touch of luxury when we visit again!"

"Location is one of the best in the quarter; it doesn’t get loud at night and is walkable to Frenchman St. The bed was also really comfortable, and the room decoration was really cute. The only downsides were that the sink faucet was very low (can’t fill a water bottle) and also, there was no dresser in the room to store folded clothes. Still, a really great and cost-effective option for a cute, quiet, private stay - which can be hard to find in such a busy area!"

"The property is very close to the French quarter and Frenchmen street. The pool was outdoors and a great place to chill after walking in the may new Orleans heat. We had a nice breakfast each morning which set us up to get on with our day. We had two rooms and each was unique and very pretty. Our bathroom was a bit small but the second room had a very large bathroom. Shower water pressure was great. I would recommend to all."
