Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Tower Waikoloa Village
2/10 Terrible
"During our stay, we found the staff at the intake desk to be consistently rude and unhelpful. We visited front desk a few times and they are all trained that way.
The manner in which guests were spoken to felt dismissive and unprofessional, which made the check-in process unnecessarily stressful and unpleasant.
In addition, we also want to report that the property train/transport service was not working during our stay.
This caused significant inconvenience, as it limited mobility within the property and disrupted planned activities and schedules. We got blisters on both feet from long walking to and back from our room. We were using bandaids to be able to wear shoes and walk.
We expect a certain standard of service and functionality from the high end Hilton property, and unfortunately, this was not met on this occasion.
We would appreciate it if you could look into both the front desk staff behavior and the maintenance issues.
We are convinced many people complain there was a group that were asking for our signature on the fact that the train did not work.
We fell that we paid for high class resort without professional staff and lack of transportation.
Hope someone investigates the problem and get back to us.
Thank you so much.
Daniela and Marius"
"We had a wonderful stay. Check in was very straightforward. The bistro had some great food. The pool was nice and the ability to go to the other resorts was great! Will definitely be going back."
"We enjoyed a top floor, ocean front room. It was quiet, serene, and was decorated beautifully. The staff was quite helpful and always friendly. We look forward to staying here again. "
"This was a work trip. However short the stay was and that i was hardly at the hotel to enjoy all the amenities, the front staff was amazing when checking me in. "

"I thought it was good that the hotel was near the airport. The hotel generally looked old and dingy, parking spaces are too small, tile trim falling off, shower curtain didn’t extend the length of the shower, the complimentary soap next to the sink was hard to wash off, the lanai furniture was old and felt dirty. We were located on the beach side 4th floor of the hotel and it was unappealing to see the roof below with the paint peeling. I understand that your hotel was sold out on the day we arrived and I’m not sure if the demand determines the price per night, but at $355 per night, I’ll probably go to an Airbnb next time."
"What an incredible place! Our room was clean, comfortable and well devoted. The attention to detail from the game room to the Coy pond made this one of our favorite places to stay. The view of the ocean is lovely."
