"It was great. The only suggestion I’d make is for more hooks to air out clothing in the bathroom or on doors. It was a heatwave when we stayed there."

"Staff were wonderful and extremely helpful, room not laid out well, double bed in a corner with luggage rack on the open side. No bar or restaurant, though plenty, a good 10mins walk away! Probably not a good choice for older tourists! Younger travellers may well appreciate “the vibe” more!"

"Very friendly staff, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Only challenge is an accurate understanding of meeting arrangements to gain initial entry: Staff was waiting inside, unbeknownst to us, whilewe were waiting outside ! Instructions should stress “ring doorbell on arrival”, and provide location, since it’s a little hard to find, especially in the dark. But otherwise a truly lovely choice in Bordeaux."

"Sebastian and Sylvie were excellent and highly professional hosts. The château is beautiful, spotless, and very well located. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was always friendly and welcoming. Everything was well maintained, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and charming. I highly recommend this place — 10/10. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Bordeaux."

"The staff were nice and the hotel itself is nice. However, upon arrival, their system was down, which resulted in a 3 hour delay for checking in. Then, their system AC did not properly work. My room was overheated, and they did not have any fans on property. On my last night, their system AC (and all electricity) were out for 30-40 minutes…all during a heatwave. It made for miserable evenings and attempts at sleeping."

"Excellent service, friendly staff. Very informative and goes out of one’s way to assist. Property provides in lobby coffee maker with all sorts of hot drinks and even flat or sparkling water. Centrally located to everything one needs to see. Very happy with our stay."

"What a gem of a property not far from any of the sights and activities in Bordeaux! From the time we arrived until we checked out the staff was very helpful giving us suggestions on places to eat along with how to navigate the city via tram that had a stop right by the hotel. Property had a good morning breakfast. Rooms were clean and a decent size, especially for French standards. Would definitely stay here again when in the area!"

"The actual building and rooms are much nicer than the pics. Room was a bit on the smaller side with no closets for clothes or a tea kettle (but you can get one from the front desk) but very clean and comfy beds. The view from my room on 8th floor was decent. Breakfast is pretty good except for the coffee which was spoilt by the powdered milk in the machine- get a double expresso and add fresh milk (they even have soy milk and almond milk). Front desk was very helpful. Great value. Oh and there...

"We loved our stay here. The location is incredible, the room (Placide) was cute, spacious, clean and well air-conditioned. The hotel staff were helpful and responsive. Would absolutely stay here again."
