Parrot Key Hotel & Villas
6/10 Okay
"Overall, I would rate my 3-day stay at Parrot Key Hotel & Villas as just okay.
There were definitely some highlights—valet service and the Excursion Desk staff were both incredibly helpful and friendly, which made parts of the stay more enjoyable.
Unfortunately, there were a few issues that impacted my experience. I found bugs in my room, specifically under the dresser. I had left a box of Cheez-Its on the table, and when I went to open it, bugs had gotten inside. I notified the front desk, and they removed the box and offered to send maintenance. While I understand that Florida’s climate can contribute to this, it did seem like they may already be aware of an ongoing issue in that particular room.
I was also given two complimentary drink vouchers, but when I tried to redeem them at the pool during breakfast, there was confusion. After waiting for service, I was told the vouchers were only valid for sangria, which contradicted what the front desk had explained earlier.
Considering the price, I would likely choose to stay elsewhere on my next visit to the Keys.
On a positive note, Goldman’s Deli across the street was a standout—great service and a delicious breakfast."

Margaritaville Beach House Key West

"Our room was at the rear of the hotel, maybe because we booked it through Expedia, I don't know, but certainly not the best location. I've noticed that we tend to get weird room locations if I use a booking service other than the hotel itself. It only had One elevator, not convenient to anything. The air conditioner couldn't keep up, we set it on 67 and it wasn't even that hot as this was an April visit. The hotel was older than I thought it would be for the money I spent. We were surprised by an additional Resort fee of $54 for each night upon check in. I'll now have to try to get it back from Expedia as it was included in their charge as well. Food was good in the restaurant, but they had one poor guy running around waiting on at least 10 tables. He did his best. So all in all, it was only a so so, overpriced motel/hotel. "

Southernmost Beach Resort and Guesthouses
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the fact that there were 3 pools, 4 if you counted the little one. Text message updates with activities going on for the day. Bartenders at the bars were friendly. Big shout out to Kasey and Amy for the festivities! Vlad and Konstentine were outstanding as well! Breakfast on the beach in the morning with a bloody mary to start the day off before heading up Duvall street which starts right there was really convenient. It was our 1st time in Key West and we are already planning to go again next year and stay at the same place."

Pier House Resort & Spa

Beachside Resort & Residences

"Elevator was broken for several days. The staff definitely helped with our luggage for checkout but the rest of the time we used the stairs. Still not so bad but the gates on the stairs did not lock properly so it gives the impression of a property that is not well maintained."

Opal Key Resort & Marina, Key West
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect spot. Lots of amenities like parasailing, deep sea fishing, sunset cruise. Did them all. 2nd visit for us in two months. We will be back in the Winter. Thanks"

Ibis Bay Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The king room next to/above pool was so comfortable. The only thing I would change are room darkening shades or blinds as the pool area lights stay on all night and light up the room. Breakfast was a nice added bonus to start the day!"
