"All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size but looked very worn-out. Only one bath towel when we got there, but to be fair they gave us another one and apologised about it. The breakfast was OK but nothing special. The room was cheap enough though so quite good value for money and we would probably stay again "

"This used to be my school until 1982 and it has been lovingly restored into a beautiful hotel with great amenities in amazing grounds. Ample parking and a safe environment leads to a peaceful and relaxing stay. "

"This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. The food was good, we had a nice breakfast and paid for lunch in the bar. The hotel has multiple games including table tennis, table football, pool and arcade games, space invaders,...

"Check in staff very helpful. Bathroom not as clean as it should be for a property like this, shower head covered in brown gunk, dirt under rim of toilet and glasses covered in dust. The shower nearly flooded as soon as I turned it on. The kettle was bashed and going rusty. Overall fine for a night but if staying more than one day there is no where to hang towels to dry. The breakfast was sufficient but confusing as there was no one to explain or check me off a list!! "

"Lovely room with comfortable bed. Very friendly and professional staff. Could do with hot plates for hot breakfast and disappointing coffee but otherwise super breakfast with cold and hot buffet. Book a bed and breakfast room if you will require breakfast. Restaurant food prices expensive. "

"For a consecutive month, I booked with a Greene King Inn to include an evening meal with the breakfast. The hotel is situated in the middle of a busy high street with great parking at the rear which is easily accessible. I was warmly welcomed and directed to my room which was nice and clean. It was warm and I asked for a fan which was supplied quickly. I went for a 1 hour speed walk and came across a village called Chawton which was a lovely part of the world to walk around. "Breakfast was Luke warm / not much bread left for toast as I assumed that most items were consumed by an overnight coach tour party staying overnight with earlyish departure. One staff member on duty probably having to cover for restaurant In the room which was ok the only problem was when you empty the wash basin the waste water came up the bath plug hole"

We had dinner there which was yummy, especially the creme brûlée - it was better than the one I had in Harrods! The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
