"Gorgeous old world style. Small but super elegant. Old world amenities like an elevator man and footmen everywhere. Such warmth from all staff. Room was large for nyc standards and bed was amazing. Lots of little touches. Would gladly stay again and price point was way lower than the plaza across the street where I have stayed plenty - would choose sherry n over it any day. Thanks!!!"

"Newly updated immaculately clean, great AC, nice amenities. Nespresso coffee maker in room, complementary snacks and beverages in rooms. 2 bathrobes and slippers provided. Good lighting and nice water pressure in showers. Small hotel with larger than average NYC hotel rooms. Nice area with many dining options nearby, walking distance to theater district. I stayed solo and felt very safe. I'll stay here again."

"The Carlyle was top notch. Every employee I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Many of them have worked there for 20-25 + years. That really says something about the organization. I would stay there again."

"We got two rooms and asked them to be near each other which they kindly organized for us and it was in its own private corner which was the best experience for my group. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the room sizes were perfect for 2 groups of 2. Location was also close to everything and felt safe. Would definitely stay again!"
