"Definitely use the Valet because parking is a nightmare in downtown Charleston. Make sure when you book your stay to call the restaurant to make reservations as they get filled up quite quickly. Minutes away from the open air market. Beds are very comfortable."
"Really nice hotel with easy access to Hwy 17. The staff were very helpful. I had an issue with the pillows & they sent up a great selection of pillows that were more comfortable. The gym is quite nice & they always have water available to refill water bottles. Highly recommend!"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston Riverview
8/10 Good
"We have been coming to this location on and off the last 10 years. Terrrific location Experience about average. Certainly value for the amount paid.
We liked our room in the older building, which was Handicap accessible from parking to elevator to room (150) with grab bars in the bathroom and shower area, great to have dorm size fridge and microwave
Staff in main building check in, etc.were OK but often times at check-in desk. There were just several people talking to each otherLobby and breakfast area were humid and not comfortable and quite loud, but that might be related solely to the other folks staying at La Quinta. Next time I will gather breakfast for my spouse in a wheelchair and take it back to our room"
"From start to finish, our experience was delightful. Check-in was smooth, the front desk staff was hospitable, and we were able to get into our room right away.
The lobby is epically beautiful and the amenities are easy to locate. Our room was spacious, albeit the fixtures are a tad outdated. The location is a short walk from everywhere we wanted to go.
My husband and I would stay here again and recommend it for anyone traveling to the area."
"Worth the price. Champagne with the room which had its own fireplace. Nicest thing was we didn’t make it to the continental breakfast but someone still put a little box together of food and left it by our door. Crazy thoughtful. Great location too."
"Everything was clean and in working order. Shower had plenty of hot water, although the water pressure was a little on the weak side. Other than that, very enjoyable stay."
"We loved the view at breakfast! The staff was kind. Great amenity to have a free shuttle to downtown. It's an older property but pretty well maintained. Wish there had been a SmartTV."
"The absolute best hotel experience my wife and I had in a long time! Everything was designed and maintained at the highest level! We couldn't be more happy with our room and the pool."
