Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. "The hotel was chosen for its location only a couple of minutes walk from the airport terminal. If you have an early flight it is ideal. The room was large and well equipped. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The Bella the cat robot assisted the waitress with serving which was a nice amusing touch. Can't comment on the breakfast as our flight was so early we left before it was served. "

"The accommodation was good but what annoyed me is we tried to turn the tv and heating on (its winter in Chch) and there was no power to either. We looked everywhere for instructions but there was none. Very disappointed, we rugged up on a very cold night and went to sleep. Next morning I told the staff how we had to endure a freezing night and no tv. She was very rude and just said “you have to put your credit card in the slot”. Then proceded to ignore me. I asked why we werent told, she said...

"Overall we had a good stay at the motel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Most parts of the experience were smooth and enjoyable.
The only major issue was the airport shuttle service. We paid $15 to book the 6am shuttle to the airport, but it never arrived. We waited until 6:30am with no communication or update from the motel. In the end, we had to book an Uber ourselves for a very similar price just to make our flight.
What was most disappointing...
