"After a fantastic, long and relaxing journey on the Glacia Express from Chur to Zermatt, we arrived at Hotel Sarazena around 9pm. "We reserved a Matterhorn view with extra price for the stay in May. Our room was on the first floor with partial view of Matterhorn and not much privacy which was somewhat disappointing. The hotel was quiet overall but the lights switches were very confusing. We asked for a train station pick up but they asked us to call even though we told them we didn’t have a phone number."

"Great atmosphere with very mountainy feel. Lots of knotty pine walls and ceilings. Breakfast was very good. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Would highly recommend. If you stay here, ask for a room on floor 4 or 5 facing the Matterhorn. As a side note, we went in late May and did not realize that many of the bars and restaurants in Zermatt and hiking areas were closed in between winter and summer season during May. Also, May is construction season so motorized...

"This property was top notch. It is a five minute walk to the Main Street. We took advantage of the fitness center and the pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast each morning was super delicious and they had omelettes made to order as well as the buffet. The rooms were very cozy and the hotel lounge was a great place to relax and just enjoy the scenery. I would definitely recommend this place. We were a party of 4 including two teenagers. They absolutely loved it too."
