We didn't get the towel if we didn't ask for it. The hair shampoo was empty at the bath. The check out time took a long time. Everything else was nice.

動物園の近くに位置し、そばには、ショッピングモールもあり、便利。某国内航空会社の指定提携宿泊ホテルと見えて、フライトアテンダントさんが多いイメージ。フロントの感じとても良い。また利用したい。朝食に肉系ほとんどない。

Pretty calm place. Hotel staff was nice. Just one thing I was surprised is genitor has been swiping the floor until the breakfast. Plates are piled 20cm up on the floor and those buffet pans are not covered. Nobody wants to eat dusty breakfast. Better than nothing tho.

Loved the stay

Great hotel with excellent service. I was able to check-in shortly after noon. Big, well-equipped, comfortable and sunny studio with floor-to-ceiling window offering wonderful city view. Decent pool. Wonderful buffet breakfast with lots and lots of choices. The restaurant and bar is very good, with inexpensive food and drinks. I was given a room with a door connected to another room, and privacy became an issue as it was super thin and let all the noises of the neighbors in; but the other aspects of the hotel were really great. The city park in front of the hotel is really nice and surrounded by restaurants, eateries and cafes, including an interesting dining complex across the road from the park which seemed to be open 24/7.

Overall its about how a 4 start hotel should not be. This was more like a 2 or a 3 star hotel. Room was dirty, had to change bed sheet twice as there were dark big patch Room service was a long wait on my first day around 40 minutes for a fried rice Air conditioning in room was also bad, technician took whole 1 hour to repair, but the room was still warm after the repair. Would not go to this hotel again.

Grand Darmo, not so grand..

This old apartment building was made into a thin walled, thin window hotel. Its noisy, and not restful. It has a 4 srat rating, but really its a 2.5-3 star. Search another booking if you are considering Grand Darmo.

Decent hotel let down by poor service

I'll try to be fair with my review. This is a decent hotel - facilities and location wise, it's not bad. Not quite as near the heart of the city, but close enough that getting anywhere is just a 10-20 minute ride in the usual traffic. Wifi isn't great, but that's par for the course with Indonesia as well. Where I think this hotel fell short was when they made a mistake, and yet expected us to pay for that mistake. I initially booked a room for 4 nights, but afterward changed the booking to 3 nights with a gap in the middle to make a day trip to Jogja. Upon check in, they told us that our booking was for 4 nights. This was odd, but after asking them to check, they confirmed that it was 4 nights. Feeling uneasy, we checked again on the second night, to be told again, that our booking was for four nights. As such, we left our stuff in the hotel room when we left to Jogja. On our return, they told us that after checking - our booking was indeed for 3 nights. As such, if we wanted to stay the 4th night we'd have to pay for it - even though they had repeatedly told us that our booking was four nights. It was a long day, and we were annoyed and decided we'd rather not give the hotel any further business so we went to another hotel nearer to the airport. TL;DR Hotel tells us we had a four night booking when we only had three. We take them at their word, and they eventually try to charge us for the fourth night anyway.

Only regret, bellman not available at check in tha second time of my stay. Front desk attendant not very nice ( male ) other than that my stay was pleasant, but I will stay again I really like tha location, and it shows, I stay there twice during my vacation.

Went to stay at the hotel for a short transit, arrived pretty late at the hotel (10 PM) so not many things can be done in the hotel. However, we managed to taste the breakfast buffet in the morning. It was dominated by traditional Indonesian breakfast which foreign tourist may not be to familiar with. We had a good meal, and the table was long enough to accommodate our family of 6 and we had a good time together in the hotel though it was pretty short. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, well trained and efficient in their approach and work. Overall, it was a good experience for us. The hotel also looked clean and well taken care, especially the bed that we use was very comfortable, big and warm. What we didnt really enjoy however is the cigarette smoke that was quite unpleasant during our breakfast time since there are those who are smoking nearby the place we sat. This is a problem that we find quite disturbing especially since we are family travelling with young children. However, we do notice that this problem is not unique to the hotel, but rather a common practice in Indonesia where people are literally can smoke cigarettes everywhere including in confined space and even air conditioned room. However, if there is something that can be done by the Hotel Management, it may bring more customer or guest to the hotel. Second, perhaps the management can consider providing more variety of western breakfast beyond bread and cereal, such as sausages, pasta, or fries

Clean hotel and spacious room.

The hotel is clean and spacous. Our room had a broken aircon but the hotel officer came to fix it quickly. The breakfast was quite disappointing as they failed to fill more food for those who came late. The restaurant is bit dirty though.
