"Overall it is a very nice hotel. We only wish they would publish the fare for cruiseport transport. The last time we stayed there it was included. The employees are very helpful which is why we booked this hotel a second time. Appreciate the covered parking."

"The place is smaller than expected. No elevator, stairs only. Should have considered the fact it was on Pacific Coast Highway so it was pretty loud, especially with the motorcycles. There was no easy walkable access to the beach despite the face it was across from the ocean on the map because of the highway. The staff wasn’t very friendly maybe he wasn’t in a good mood, or just culturally different, he sounded quite rude. It was okay but Wouldn’t stay here again if we had a choice"

"We were there a week. Staff rude. Breakfast periodically ran out of milk, cereal. Room comfortable and clean. Location 10 minutes walk to beach. They wanted to charge us $10 per day parking on arrival because we booked room through Expedia. Would not stay there again because of rude staff."

"Our room had a balcony with an ocean/beach view. It was. Dry clean, beds were comfortable. There’s a mini fridge but no microwave in the room. There are microwaves available in what looked like it used to be a breakfast area. There was toasters and a nice room with tables and fresh brewed coffee station on the first floor. It’s really too bad they don’t include breakfast. Overall the place is a bit dated, but you can’t beat it for beach access. I would definitely stay here again. "

"For the price, you cannot beat this place. Short walk to sunset beach and right next door to an awesome surf shop. Really liked the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking right in front of the building. I plan on returning. "

"Not saying I wouldn’t stay there again but there’s a few things you should know if your planning on staying here, the air conditioning didn’t work, there was dried liquids on the floor that never got cleaned, along with dirty hand towels, but I’ve stayed in much worse, the parking was great! They had a nice elevator witch made carrying our luggage to the room easy, all in all keep your windows open if you plan on staying here because the room gets extremely hot."

"The front desk staff was nice. Breakfast is always great. They have a nice gym, well equipped and clean. If you need a late checkout and you ask the night before, don’t rely on that confirmation. Call first thing in the morning and request again. "

"This hotel is conveniently located to nearby shops and restaurants. The breakfast has vast options. It is a newer hotel and is clean and with a modern asthetic."

"This booking was from Tuesday to Saturday everything that happened was on the first day the area was not busy at all and this whole situation could have been easily resolved by Expedia and the hotel. The air conditioning does not go below 66 and stays on for exactly 3 minutes so the room becomes humid and unbearable this is unnecessary to control the temperature this strictly because the temperature is inconsistent and uncomfortable. "The room was much cleaner than I expected and in great condition. It didn’t seemed dated at all. Gigantic bed that could probably fit 4 people. Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and helpful throughout. It also felt very safe and secure. It was also quiet within the hotel with little external noise coming in. "
