"Clean, quiet and safe."

"They charge you for parking to a 3rd party app you have to register to after the fact as complete BS and way to tax you when there is no limited space or lack of parking in this wide open rural area. Wake up to find parking ticket on your car after arriving midnight. Hotel, dog, and parking ended up towards $300 for a single night as stop off while commuting FL to CT. Much better places available. Avoid this stupid pllace."

"I travel alot and this hotel was such a welcome experience. I was greet so enthusiastic when I entered and I felt that the front desk really cared about my stay. The hotel lobby smelled wonderfully and was very clean. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was wonderful. There is a diverse menu that actually had dishes with real vegetables, not juat burgers and pizza. The breakfast was also top notch. The sercers were personable and attentive. "Everyone was kind and respectful from the gentleman that checked me in to the maintenance man I ran into on the elevator. Housekeeping. Everyone made me feel welcomed. Room nice nd clean and spacious"

"The bathroom wasn't clean, and there was an extra charge on my card along with the security payment. I am still waiting on that refund. They did give me a free stay because of the bathroom."

"The owner, Claudia, was amazing. So helpful and kind. Parking in back was much appreciated, breakfast was freshly made, delicious and served in one of the beautifully decorated common areas. The room was comfortable and clean. The mansion is pre Civil War and furnished accordingly with antiques. If you're looking for modern hotel amenities you will be disappointed, but if you're looking for charm, warmth and a gracious host, you will love Ragland Mansion. Pet friendly as a welcome bonus!"

"The staff were exceptional. Belinda at checkin was awesome. Cee cee at the bar was a great host and great bartender. We did have two meals there and they were good also!!! When I visit Petersburg again I will definitely be staying there. 3 bars and a restaurant. The soap in the room smelled fragrant."

"It was within 10 miles from Fort Lee. Pool was great! Staff was nice! Breakfast was delicious! There is a turtle pond by the pool. I've never seen so many turtles! It was so neat"

"Clean, quiet, and friendly, with comfortable mattresses and plenty of parking for our trailer. The owners and staff warmly welcomed us back for our second stay, and one staff member even offered to bake us cookies! Breakfast was plentiful and varied, though it featured the same eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy each day. There was also plenty of cereal, yogurt, waffles, a small selection of fruit, a juice machine, a few baked goods, and a fancy coffee machine that’s excellent when it’s not...

"Clean and nice smelling room. Housekeeper was friendly. Front desk person did his best to find two rooms next to each other for me and my wife and for my daughter and her family. Breakfast was good and all attended."
