"I read all the reviews (after booking with no cancellation!!) and was pretty nervous about my stay. However I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, beds fresh, towels changed daily, bathrooms were easily accessible and private. There were block out external blinds, fans for the heat and no noise. "Gruyeres Rooms was a wonderful hotel! The room was huge, and I woke up to a beautiful view in the morning. It’s in the center of the village but very quiet. Plus, I missed a couple of train connections and arrived at the station down below after 10:00. I called the hotel and the manager’s brother walked me through everything. Yay!"
