We had 2 separate stays here on our recent visit to Australia. We stayed in the main hotel in a deluxe room, then a standard room. They were identical with the only difference being that the deluxe has a shared large balcony overlooking the outdoor bar area. The rooms were of a high standard of decor & cleanliness. Very well equipped. Although it is clearly stated that the rooms can be noisy because they are above the bar which my husband did not find an issue, I found it very hard to sleep. The deluxe room was noisy from the pumping music & the standard room from heavy road noise with music noise at times. The rooms are sibgle glazed so its like having the window open & they really need some soundproofing. Great location across from the beach but wouldnt stay here again if I visited & would pick somewhere in a quieter area.

Staff is super helpful, the gal at the front desk made sure we were taken care if. There was a roach but he didnt bite, just needed a place to stay for the night like us

We got upgraded to the boutique hotel which was absolutely amazing in every way. Staff was very courteous and polite and area was fantastic every thing on hand.

The room was lovely and clean We were on the second floor overlooking the courtyard so a nice atmosphere, beach was to our left which we could see. The problem was a faulty extractor fan that was constantly making a noise all night and we were unable to sleep. Staff were understanding and caring about this. We would definitely stay here again as long as this problem is sorted out as promised

Great room easy parking, though that's at an extra cost. Only downside is noise from the venue below. It is a very popular pub & would expect noise. We had no problem but for some people it would be. Maybe better glass in the doors would help?

Hotel vlak bij het strand van Cogee Beach. Straat oversteken en je bent er. Nette ruime kamer. Geen lift aanwezig, maar voor de 1e etage heb je ook niet persé een lift nodig. Restaurant bij het hotel is prima. In directe omgeving ook prima restaurants en koffietentjes aanwezig. Voor het in- en uitchecken moet je wel in het andere deel (boutique hotel) zijn. Maar dat is ook geen probleem.

This was bar far the best place we stayed at on our Australian vacation. The staff was great and the grounds were extremely well kept with plenty to do. Loved the pool in the heat of the Australian day! Couldn’t believe there weren’t more people at it. Great atmosphere! Would definitely stay here again.

The recently refurbished rooms in the CBH we stayed in the boutique part and they are stunning they are spacious beautifully decorated with a kitchen area and lovely bathroom we had a balcony also, I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel above the restaurant, not the boutique part of the hotel. The proceeds very reasonable and the hotel reached out ahead of time to warn us that evenings can be noisy due to the bar downstairs. We did hear some activity at night but nothing my noise canceling sleep headphones and the air conditioning couldn’t handle. Maybe we got lucky with our assigned room? Not sure, but I would definitely recommend to try this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and even gave us beach towels and held onto our luggage until check-in was available. The location is fantastic and lots of bars and restaurants and most importantly Coogee Beach right outside the door!

Awesome beach view from the balcony and the room was nice, clean, and spacious. Staff was friendly! It is a loud and rowdy area with live music going late into the night. The balcony is also shared, so be aware of that.

Great location. Easy walk to the beach, coastal walk, or catch the local buses. Room was spotless. Housekeeping did great job sprucing up room each morning. Enjoyed having the balcony to relax on at night. Air conditioning in room was a bit temperamental. I would set the temperature to the lowest setting to cool the room down, and sometimes the room temperature would actually get hotter. It worked fine most of the time except my last night. No elevator in the Bay side was a challenge for carrying luggage (thankfully reception helped during check in), was a nuisance upon checking out - was given fair warning, but can imagine this being an issue for limited mobility guests. As a light sleeper, I personally had no issues with noise from bars during the weeknights, music and noise ended at reasonable hours.
