The stay had potential but clearer rules and simpl

If you’re looking for a place to fully relax before your next trip, this might not be it. The rules are strict, yet not clearly explained. They send a link and email with rules and a key code, but no photo or video showing where the key is. I wasted 20 minutes asking residents for help, since the code wasn’t for the outside machine but a hidden box. It felt awkward, as if people suspected I was up to no good. You also have to keep checking your email. A day before leaving, they suddenly ask for a photo proving the key was returned—something never mentioned earlier. I came here to rest, not to monitor emails daily. On top of that, they required trash disposal but gave no instructions on where the bins were. We mistakenly used the neighbor’s bin and got yelled at, even after apologizing. The rude exchange really spoiled the trip. Another issue was the $300 AUD deposit. Instead of a normal pre-authorization on a credit card, they required a direct bank transfer to a separate account. That felt risky and insecure, so we recorded everything in the apartment to protect ourselves. Sure enough, we found dented walls and broken chairs already there. Overall, the unclear rules, extra tasks, and lack of transparency made the stay stressful rather than relaxing. I sincerely hope others have a smoother trip.
